It is a throttle position sensor...

Fits ALL 500 efi twins from 2007 thru 2014.. Both, single and twin throttle bodies...

If someone has one sitting around that's good and wants to sell, shoot me a pm...

Cat is out until 3/24/15...

My season is over before I even got time off and rode once...... :( :pulling-my-hair-out:

Rusty, this for your 500SP ? I have a complete throttle body assembly. I'll double check, but believe the TPS is on there.

Yes it did taper.... Old one showed -0.000 voltage with TPS tool at idle... Wide open it only got to... 0.000.... :eyes-poppin:

Newer one settled in fine at 0.712 at idle and topped at 3.647 at WOT... Ran fine when started and warmed.... Straight Line Products magnetic adjustable weights were installed by C-jr. while I was attending to pipe remounting.... Setup currently installed doesn't seem to have lowered engagement much (tach was unhooked while hood was off), but still is in upper 4k's I'm sure....
Gonna re-install OEM spring out back and tune using 38* slots.... (To regain OEM clutchings "zip" out of hole and corners) and add weight mid to top to control the rest...
